The Health and Safety Executive reported in 2016/2017 that 526,000 workers suffered from work related stress, depression or anxiety (new or long standing) and 12.5 million working days were lost costing the UK economy billions each year.
You need a normal amount of stress (stretching) to motivate yourself to do things every day. It is when stress doesn’t ease up, feels constant (stretched beyond your limits) and affects different areas of your life that you find you cannot cope and come to a decision that it is time to change and seek help.
Too much stress sets dangerous levels of cortisol rushing around your body and can affect you in so many ways even being responsible for diabetes, heart disease and cancer.
Believe it or not stress can be treated quickly and with great success and I can give you the tools to keep your stress levels under control. We can look at the areas in your life where you are not getting your emotional needs met and find ways to set realistic goals, calm yourself down quickly and manage your time more effectively.
