Hypnotherapy

I am a member of the National Hypnotherapy Society and have also been trained to use Guided Imagery and The Rewind Technique for trauma during my Human Givens post graduate Diploma.

Hypnotherapy is an incredibly useful tool in the therapeutic setting.  I use hypnotherapy in the following ways:

Helping clients to feel deeply relaxed, like a massage for the mind

Body Scans and mindfulness techniques
Phobia
Anxiety
Stress
Depression
Trauma
Addiction (I work on quitting techniques, not cutting down)
Sexual issues
Self esteem
Body confidence
Public speaking
Grief and loss
Relationship difficulties
Anger
Having more meaning and purpose in life
Suicidal ideation

Note:  Hypnotherapy works for around two thirds of people. Sometimes it will not be the best course of therapy for a number of reasons, ie, not being able to use imagination or ’see’ images (aphantasia) or the mind being too busy.
