Stress

A certain amount of stress is good. It helps to motivate us and get us the things we need. Too much stress is harmful, in many ways.

When stress is layered up and doesn’t stop we call it ‘chronic stress’. Our bodies can be in a constant state of fight or flight. The constant release of adrenaline and cortisol has far reaching consequences for a physical and mental health. Lowering stress levels is the key to good mental health.

We work on where you are feeling stress in your body, environment and with other people. Are you in pain? Do you have gut issues? Have you experienced breathing or heart problems? How is your sleep? How are you coping with stress? Have you found that you are eating more, spending more, smoking, drinking, taking drugs, getting into arguments or putting yourself in high risk situations? Perhaps you have experienced meltdowns, shutdowns and burnout. We can work on improving your current stress levels and your health generally.
